Nickel, tin, lead, gun metal scrap brass sheet cutting and copper scrap heavy prices declined further at the non-ferrous metal market here today on stockist selling amid subdued offtake from industrial users on the back of lower Asian cues.

The industrial metals fell at the Asian early trade, unsettled by concern that a probe into metals storage at China's third-largest port could squeeze financing and cut buying interest in metals.

Nickel dropped by Rs 5 per kg to Rs 1,230 from last Saturday's closing level of Rs 1,235.

Brass sheet cutting and gun metal scrap declined by Rs 3 per kg each to Rs 345 and Rs 411 from Rs 348 and Rs 414.

Lead and tin moved down by Rs 2 per kg each to Rs 140 and Rs 1,598 from Rs 142 and Rs 1,600, respectively.

Copper scrap heavy edged down by Re 1 per kg to Rs 473.
