Select base metals decline on lacklustre trade

Meanwhile, select brass and zinc edged up on better demand from consumer industries.

The industrial slipped at the LME, though supported by new round of US monetary stimulus measures and a weak dollar.

Copper sheet cutting and aluminium ingots fell by Rs 5 per kg each to Rs 470 and Rs 142 from last Saturday's closing level of Rs 475 and Rs 147.

Copper armature moved down by Rs 3 per kg to Rs 476 from Rs 479 and copper utensils scrap edged down by Rs 2 per kg to Rs 450 from Rs 452 last weekend.

However, brass utensils scrap gained by Rs 2 per kg to Rs 327 and zinc inched up by Re 1 per kg to Rs 142.
