Select base metals decline on lower demand

The industrial metals edged up at the LME in a narrow trading sessions amidst cautiousness ahead of the Chinese GDP data this week.

Nickel and tin fell further by Rs 5 per kg each to Rs 1,085 and Rs 1,290 from Tuesday's closing level of Rs 1,090 and Rs 1,295.

Brass sheet cutting moved down by Rs 2 per kg to Rs 326 from Rs 328 previously.

Copper scrap heavy, copper armature, copper sheet cutting, brass utensils scrap and lead softened by Re 1 per kg each to Rs 474, Rs 468, Rs 462, Rs 317 and Rs 121, respectively.
