Select base metals eases in lacklustre trade

Elsewhere, copper cable scrap and copper wire bar edged up on stray demand from industrial users.

The industrial metals were trading slightly higher at the LME on weak dollar following Fed Chairman Ben Bernanke comment of bond purchase to stimulate growth.

Copper scrap heavy, copper armiture, brass utensils scrap and brass sheet cutting all softened by a rupee per kg each to Rs 476, Rs 468, Rs 320 and Rs 331 respectively.

However, copper cable scrap and copper wire bar both inched up by a rupee per kg to Rs 484 and Rs 512. PTI ARR PAK ARR
