Select base metals edge up on mild demand

Meanwhile, tin fell due to subdued demand from alloy industries.

Industrial metal moved up at the LME, as the euro steadied against the dollar, though investors cautiousness remained over the concern about euro-zone debt crisis and upcoming elections in Greece.

Brass sheet cutting gained by Rs 2 per kg to Rs 327 from Tuesday's closing level of Rs 325.

Copper scrap heavy, copper armature, copper utensils, brass utensils scrap and aluminium utensils all inched up by a rupee per kg each to Rs 473, Rs 466, Rs 444, Rs 318 and Rs 144, respectively.

However, Tin declined by Rs 5 per kg to Rs 1,340 as against Rs 1,345 previously.
