Select base metals fall on global cues

Industrial metals continued its downtrend at the LME on deepening eurozone political crisis amid Greece announcement that it would hold second round of election.

Copper sheet cutting dropped by Rs 6 per kg to Rs 452 from Tuesday's closing level of Rs 458.

Copper armiture and copper utensils scrap dipped by Rs 5 per kg each to Rs 458 and Rs 434 from overnight close of Rs 463 and Rs 439.

Lead slid by Rs 4 per kg to Rs 119 from Rs 123 and brass utensils scrap slipped by Rs 3 per kg to Rs 314 from Rs 317 previously.

 

Copper scrap heavy also moved down by Rs 2 per kg to Rs 471 from Rs 473.
