Meanwhile, copper cable scrap and copper wire bar moved down further owing to reduced buying by consumer industries.

Industrial metals traded almost steady amid cautiousness in early trade at the LME on mounting worries over Greece's exit as well as faltering economic data from China.

Nickel rose by Rs 5 per kilo to Rs 1,105 from overnight closing level of Rs 1,100 and brass utensils scrap edged up by Rs 2 per kilo to Rs 318 from Rs 316 previously.

Copper armiture, copper sheets cutting and lead inched up by Re 1 per kg each to Rs 470, Rs 465 and Rs 122, respectively.

 

However, copper cable scrap and copper wire bar both softened by Re 1 per kg to Rs 487 and Rs 515.
