Select base metals, including copper, brass and tin, gained at the non-ferrous metal market here today on stockists' buying amid good demand from industrial users.
Aluminium ingots, zinc, lead and nickel slipped on lower demand from alloy industries.
Copper cable scrap, copper billets, brass utensils scrap and tin rose by Rs 5 per kg each to Rs 443, Rs 471, Rs 313 and Rs 1,387, from Monday's close of Rs 438, Rs 466, Rs 308 and Rs 1,382, respectively.

Copper armature and brass sheet cuttings edged up by Rs 2 per kg each to Rs 417 and Rs 320 compared Rs 415 and Rs 318, respectively.
Copper sheet cuttings inched up by Rs 411 per kg.
However, zinc fell by Rs 8 per kg to Rs 220 from previous close Rs 228 and nickel edged down by Rs 3 per kg to Rs 787 as against Rs 790.
Aluminium ingots and lead softened to Rs 151 and Rs 154, respectively.
