Led by Nickel, most of the base metals rose at the non-ferrous metal market here today on robust stockists buying amid firm demand from industrial users.
Meanwhile, tin, aluminium ingots and aluminium utensils scrap declined due to poor offtake from industrial users.
Nickel climbed by Rs 20 per kg to Rs 730 from Tuesday's closing level of Rs 710 and copper armiture rose by Rs 7 per kg to Rs 363 as against Rs 356 yesterday.

Copper cable scrap, copper scrap heavy, copper wire bar, copper sheet cuttings, brass utensils scrap and copper utensils scrap edged up by Rs 4 per kg each to Rs 375, Rs 369, Rs 403, Rs 358, Rs 272 and Rs 342 from Rs 371, Rs 365, Rs 399, Rs 354, Rs 268 and Rs 338, respectively.
Brass sheet cuttings up by Rs 2 per kg to Rs 280 as against to Rs 278 previously.
Zinc and lead inched up by a Re per kg each to Rs 141 and Rs 121.
However, tin declined by Rs 5 per kg to Rs 1,120 from overnight closing level of Rs 1,125.
Aluminium ingots and aluminium utensils scrap fell by Rs 2 per kg each to Rs 128 and Rs 109 from Rs 130 and Rs 111 previously.
