Select base metal prices fell by Rs 2 per kg at the non-ferrous metal market today owing to slackened demand from consuming industries amid weak trend overseas.
Traders said, apart from a weak trend in base metals in the global market, tepid demand demand from consuming industries at the domestic spot market, mainly led to the decline in select base metal prices.
In the national capital, copper mixed scrap and nickel plate (4x4) were trading down by Rs 2 each to Rs 358 and Rs 800-805 per kg, respectively.
