Select copper and brass utensils decline on subdued demand

Select copper and brass utensils scrap declined at the non-ferrous metal market here today due to stockists selling as well as subdued demand from industrial users.

While, copper sheet cuttings marginally recovered following mild demand from industrial users.

Copper utensils scrap moved down by Rs 4 per kg to Rs 326 from Monday's close Rs 330.

Copper cable scrap, copper scrap heavy and copper wire bar edged down by Rs 2 per kg each to Rs 364, Rs 359 and Rs 392 as compared to Rs 366, Rs 361 and Rs 394 yesterday.

Copper armature and brass utensils scrap softened by a Re per kg each to Rs 349 and Rs 274 respectively.
 

However, copper sheet cuttings inched up by a Re per kg to Rs 343.
