Select copper, brass soften in listless trade

The industrial metals gained at LME on firmer euro after the European Central Bank said it was ready to buy bonds of troubled countries in the region, though volumes were low with top consumer China on a week-long holiday.

Copper cable scrap, copper scrap heavy, copper wirebar and brass utensils scrap all inched down by Re 1 per kg to Rs 485, Rs 475, Rs 513 and Rs 322, respectively.
