Select copper eases on global cues

Meanwhile, brass utensils scrap and aluminium utensils scrap edged up on better demand from consumer industries.

The industrial metal declined at the LME as hopes dimmed for an imminent easing announcement by the European Central Bank at a meeting this week.

Copper cable scrap and Copper wire bar moved down by Rs 2 per kg each to Rs 483 and Rs 318 from Tuesday's closing levels of Rs 485 and Rs 513.

Copper scrap heavy, copper utensils scrap and copper sheet cutting all inched down by a rupee per kg to Rs 475, Rs 442 and Rs 461 respectively.

However, brass utensils scrap went up by Rs 2 per kg to Rs 318 from Rs 316 and Aluminium utensils inched up by a rupee per kg to Rs 114.
