Select copra drops on subuded demand

Copra office Alapuzha and copra Kozhikode prices dropped at the spices market here today due to subdued demand from millers and bulk consumers.

While, copra Rajapur climbed on renewed demand from stockists and retailers amidst higher export offtake.

Rest of the spices ruled stable in the absence of any worthwhile trading activity.

Copra office Kozhikode dipped by Rs 200 per quintal to Rs 7,600 from Monday's closing level of Rs 7,800.

Copra office Kozhikode declined by Rs 100 per quintal to Rs 7,500 from Rs 7,600.

However, copra Rajapur shot up by Rs 200 per quintal to Rs 9,300 as compared to Rs 9,100 previously.

Black pepper (per kg) 531/581 (531/581), ginger bleached (per kg) 205 (205), ginger unbleached (per kg) 215 (215), copra office Alapuzha (per quintal) 7,600 (7,800), copra office Kozhikode (per quintal) 7,500 (7,600), copra Rajapur Mumbai (per quintal) 9,300 (9,100), Copra edible Mumbai (per quintal) 8,300 (8,300).
