Prices of copra Alapuzha and copra Kozhikode firmed up at the spices market here today due to good stockists offtake coupled with rising domestic demand ahead of festivities.
Meanwhile, black pepper, ginger, copra Rajapur and copra edible ruled stable in the absence of any worthwhile buying support.
Copra office Alapuzha and Copra office Kozhikode both rose by Rs 50 per quintal to Rs 4,950 and Rs 4,850 from Rs 4,900 and Rs 4,800 last weekend.
