Select copra gains on heavy demand

While copra office Alapuzha and copra office Kozhikode declined due to subdued demand from millers.

Other spices maintained a stable trend in the absence of any worthwhile buying.

Copra Rajapur Mumbai and Copra edible Mumbai spurted by Rs 100 per quintal each to Rs 7,500 and Rs 5,300 from last weekend's closing level of Rs 7,400 and Rs 5,200.

However, copra office Alapuzha and copra office Kozhikode moved down by Rs 50 per quintal each to Rs 4,200 and Rs 4,100 as against Rs 4,250 and Rs 4,100 previously.

Black pepper (per kg) 430/455 (430/455), ginger bleached (per kg) 120 (120), ginger unbleached (per kg) 130 (130), copra office Alapuzha (per quintal) 4,200 (4,250), copra office Kozhikode (per quintal) 4,100 (4,150), copra Rajapur Mumbai (per quintal) 7,500 (7,400) Copra edible Mumbai (per quintal) 5,300 (5,200).
