Select copra, ginger gain on good demand

Ginger prices gained on higher retail offtake.

Meanwhile, copra Rajapur Mumbai dropped due to subdued demand from bulk consumers and Black pepper eased owing to lower retail offtake.

Copra office Alapuzha climbed by Rs 50 per quintal to Rs 4,300 from Monday's closing level of Rs 4,250.

Copra office Kozhikode moved up by Rs 25 per quintal to Rs 4,175 from Rs 4,150.

Ginger bleached and unbleached went up by Rs 5 and Rs 15 per kg each to Rs 140 and Rs 155 as against Rs 135 and Rs 140 respectively.

However, Black pepper looked down by Rs 3/5 per kg to Rs 415/440 from Rs 418/445 yesterday. Copra Rajapur Mum declined by Rs 100 per quintal to Rs 6,600 from Rs 6,700 previously.

 

Copra edible Mumbai ruled stable at Rs 5,375 per quintal.
