Meanwhile, rest all other prices ruled steady due to lack of necessary buying activity.
Copra office Alapuzha, copra office Kozhikode and copra edible surged by Rs 100 per quintal each to Rs 8,300, Rs 8,200 and Rs 9,100 from Thursday's closing level of Rs 8,200, Rs 8,100 and Rs 9,000, respectively.
