Select copra prices decline on lacklustre trade

Copra Rajapur Mumbai and Copra edible prices declined in an otherwise lacklustre spices market here due to subdued demand from stockists and retailers amid lower export offtake.

While copra office Alapuzha and Kozhikode markets remained closed for State Assembly Election.

All other spices ruled steady in the absence of any major buying activity.

Copra Rajapur fell by Rs 200 per quintal to Rs 10,000 from last Saturday's closing level of Rs 10,200.

Copra edible Mumbai moved down by Rs 100 per quintal to Rs 7,000 compared to Rs 7,100 previously.
