Select copra prices rise on consistent demand

Copra office Alapuzha, copra office Kozhikode and copra Rajapur Mumbai prices rose at the spices market here today on consistent stockist and retail demand in view of approaching festivities.

Meanwhile, all other spices maintained a stable trend in the absence of market-moving factors.

Copra office Kozhikode shot-up by Rs 300 per quintal to Rs 5,700 from Saturday's closing level of Rs 5,400.

Copra office Alapuzha climbed by Rs 200 per quintal to Rs 5,700 from Rs 5,500.

Copra Rajapur Mumbai also moved-up by Rs 100 per quintal to Rs 7,200 as compared to Rs 7,100 previously.
