Select copra rebounds on fresh buying, poor arrivals

Prices of copra Alapuzha and copra Kozhikode recovered at the spices market here today on renewed offtake by stockists and millers amidst tight supplies.

Elsewhere, copra edible rose firmly owing to increased demand from bulk consumers.

While, copra Rajapur, black pepper and ginger both varieties closed at their overnight levels in the absence of necessary buying support.

Copra office Alapuzha and copra office Kozhikode rose by Rs 100 per quintal each to Rs 10,700 and Rs 10,600 from Wednesday's finish of Rs 10,600 and Rs 10,500, respectively.

Copra edible Mumbai spiked by Rs 100 per quintal to Rs 12,100 as against Rs 12,000 previously.
