Select copra rebounds on fresh demand

Copra office Alapuzha, copra office Kozhikode and copra edible Mumbai prices rebounded at the spices market here today due to fresh demand by stockists and retailers amidst restricted arrivals from producing belts.

Meanwhile, rest of the spices ruled stable in the absence of any worthwhile buying activity.

Copra edible Mumbai climbed by Rs 200 per quintal to Rs 12,200 from last Saturday's closing level of Rs 12,000.

Copra office Alapuzha and copra office Kozhikode moved up by Rs 100 per quintal each to Rs 10,300 and Rs 10,200 as against Rs 10,200 and Rs 10,100 last weekend, respectively.

Black pepper (per kg) 575/675 (575/675), ginger bleached (per kg) 230 (230), ginger unbleached (per kg) 250 (250), copra office Alapuzha (per quintal) 10,300 (10,200), copra office Kozhikode (per quintal) 10,200 (10,100), copra Rajapur Mumbai (per quintal) 17,000 (17,000), copra edible Mumbai (per quintal) 12,200 (12,000).
