Prices of select edible oils drifted lower by up to Rs 60 per quintal at the wholesale oils and oilseeds market as demand from vanaspati units and retailers eased at prevailing levels.

However, movements in other edible and non-edible oils were narrow in the absence of any worthwhile activity and finally settled at their previous closings.

Traders said fall in demand from vanaspati units as well as retailers mainly weighed on select edible oil prices.
