The slide in select edible oils continued for the third straight day with prices falling up to Rs 100 per quintal at the wholesale oils and oilseeds market today owing to slackened demand.

However, non-edible oils moved in a tight range in scattered deals and settled around previous levels.

Traders said besides subdued demand, adequate stocks position in the market mainly kept pressure on select edible oil prices.
