Select edible oil prices advanced by up to Rs 200 at the wholesale oils and oilseeds market today on persistent buying by vanaspati millers to meet demand from retailers against restricted supplies.

However, non-edible oils held steady in thin trade.

In the national capital, groundnut mill delivery (Gujarat) oil advanced by Rs 200 to Rs 14,200 per quintal.

Mustard expeller (Dadri) oil traded higher by Rs 50 to Rs 8,950 per quintal.

Palmolein (RBD) and palmolein (Kandla) oils edged up by Rs 50 each to Rs 6,100 and Rs 6,150 per quintal respectively.
