Select edible oil prices declined by Rs 50 per quintal at the wholesale oils and oilseeds market today owing to slackened demand from retailers.
Non-edible oils also traded lower due to lack of demand from consuming industries.
Traders said tepid demand from retailers against adequate stocks position mainly kept pressure on select edible oil prices.
