Prices of select edible oils rose up to Rs 100 at the wholesale oils and oilseeds market today on rising demand from vanaspati millers and retailers coupled with a firming global trend.
However, non-edible oils moved in a tight range in limited deals and settled around previous levels.
Traders said besides rising demand from vanaspati millers and retailers, a firming global trend mainly kept select edible oil prices higher.
