Prices of thoor dal, moong dal, gram dal and maida went down while all other commodities ruled steady in the wholesale foodgrain market here during the week ended today.
Moong dal and Gram dal both opened on Tuesday after the Independence Day Holiday on Monday at Rs 7,500 and Rs 9,500, a decrease of Rs 800 and Rs 400 per quintal each from its closing rates of Rs 8,300 and Rs 9,900 and closed the week at the same rate of Rs 7,500 and Rs 9,500 respectively.
Likewise, thoor dal declined by Rs.200 per quintal to Rs 12,500 from its previous rate of Rs 12,700 and maintained the same trend till today.

However, the prices of urad dal (Rs 13,000), sugar (Rs 3,900), wheat (Rs 2,900) and sooji (90 kg)(Rs 3,200) ruled steady throughout the week.
