Select foodgrain prices rise at wholesale market

Prices of thoor dal, urad dal and gram dal rose while rest of the commodities ruled steady in the wholesale foodgrains market here today.

Thoor dal rose by Rs 400 per quintal to Rs 9,800 from yesterday's rate of Rs 9,400.

In addition, urad dal and gram dal prices increased by Rs 200 and Rs 100 per quintal each to Rs 9,000 and Rs 5,000 from previous day's rate of Rs 8,800 and Rs 4,900, respectively.

Following are the wholesale rates of various agri commodities (in Rs per quintal, except where stated otherwise): Thoor Dal Rs 9,800, Urad Dal Rs 9,000, Moong Dal Rs 9,800, Gram Dal Rs 5,000, Sugar Rs 2,700, Wheat Rs 2,700, Maida (90 kg) Rs 2,400 and Sooji (90 kg) Rs 3,000.
