Select pulses led by arhar fell by up to Rs 100 per quintal at the wholesale pulses market today owing to slackened demand from retailers against adequate stocks position.
Traders said besides easing demand from retailers at prevailing levels, ample stocks on increased supplies from producing regions mainly kept arhar and other pulses lower.
In the national capital, arhar and its dal dara variety declined by Rs 100 each to Rs 8,900 and Rs 11,700-13,400 per quintal, respectively.
