Prices of select pulses led by urad fell upto Rs 100 per quintal at the wholesale market today owing to slackened demand from retailers at prevailing levels amid adequate stock.
Traders said adequate stock in the market as supplies picked up after the government decided to import lentils in large quantities to check rising prices, mainly capped the rise.
They said fall in demand at existing levels also pulled down the pulse prices.
