Select pulses led by urad eased at the wholesale market today following lack of buying support at prevailing levels against adequate supplies from producing belts.
Marketmen said adequate stocks position against lack of buying support from stockists and retailers at current levels mainly pulled down urad and other pulses.
In the national capital, urad eased to Rs 5,900-6,500 against last close of Rs 6,050-7,050 per quintal. Its dal chilka local, best quality and dhoya were down by Rs 200 each to Rs 7,200-7,400, Rs 7,400-8,000 and Rs 7,800-8,200 per quintal respectively.

Moth also weakened by Rs 100 to Rs 5,600-5,900 per quintal.
In line with a weak trend, gram shed Rs 50 at Rs 3,400-4,250 per quintal and its dal local and best quality enquired lower by Rs 100 each to Rs 3,900-4,100 and Rs 4,000-4,300 per quintal respectively.
Rajmah chitra too fell to Rs 4,000-5,800 from previous close of Rs 4,000-6,000 per quintal.
