Select pulses, led by moong, rose up to Rs 200 per quintal at the wholesale pulses market today on increased buying by stockists to meet rising demand amid against restricted arrivals from producing belts.
Marketmen said increased buying by stockists against restricted arrivals from producing belts mainly supported the uptrend.
In the national capital, moong and its dal chilka local rose by Rs 200 each to Rs 5,700-6,900 and Rs 6,900-7,400, while moong dal dhoya local and best quality traded higher by the same margin to Rs 6,800-7,100 and Rs 7,600-7,700 per quintal, respectively.

Urad and its dal chilka local also traded higher by Rs 100 each to Rs 5,400-5,800 and Rs 6,600-6,800 per quintal, respectively. Its dal best quality and dhoya enquired higher by a similar margin to Rs 6,850-7,450 and Rs 7,100-7,500 per quintal, respectively.
In line with a general firm trend, gram, gramdal local and best quality traded higher by Rs 50 each to Rs 2,750-3,450, Rs 3,450-3,650 and Rs 3,550-3,650 per quintal, respectively.
Besin shakti bhog and Rajdhani quoted higher at Rs 1,360 per 35 bags, respectively instead of Rs 1,340.
