Select slips on lower industrial demand

Select copper prices slipped in an otherwise listless trade at the non-ferrous metal market here today following stockists selling amid lower demand from industrial users.

Copper sheet cutting fell by Rs 3 per kg to Rs 386 from Thursday's closing level of Rs 388.

Copper utensils scrap moved down by Rs 2 per kg to Rs 363 as against Rs 365.

Copper scrap heavy and copper armature softened by a Re per kg each to Rs 397 and Rs 393, respectively.

However, zinc edged-up by a Re per kg to Rs 230.
