Selected commodities moved up

Prices of thoor dal, udad dal, sugar went up, while that of gram dal and sooji move down, rest all other commodities ruled steady in the wholesale foodgrains market here today.

Urad dal went up by Rs 300 per quintal to Rs 7,800 from its previous level of Rs 7,500 respectively.

Thoor dal moved up by Rs 50 per quintal to Rs 8,150 from yesterday rate of Rs 8,100.

Gram dal went down by Rs 50 per quintal to Rs 3,900 from yesterdays rate of Rs 3,950.

Sugar rose by Rs 30 per quintal to Rs 3,280 from yesterday's rate of Rs 3,250.
 

Sooji declined by Rs 100 per quintal to Rs 2,800 from its previous level of Rs 2,900.

However, moong dal, wheat, and maida ruled steady.

Following are the wholesale rates of various agri-commodities (in Rs per quintal, except where stated otherwise): Thoor Dal Rs 8,150, Urad Dal Rs 7,800 Moong Dal Rs 10,000, Gram Dal Rs 3,900, Sugar Rs 3,280, Wheat Rs 2,700, Maida (90 kg) Rs 2,500 and Sooji (90 kg) Rs 2,800.
