Selected foodgrain prices decline

Prices of thoor dal, moong dal and gram dal went down and maida went up while other commodities ruled steady in the wholesale foodgrain market here during the week ended today.

Prices of thoor dal went down by Rs 800 on Monday from Rs 12,500 and again Rs 300 on Friday and stood at Rs 11,400 today.

Moong dal opened at Rs 7,500 on Monday and went down on Friday by Rs 200 and closed at Rs 7,300 today.

Gram Dal Opened at Rs 9,500 on Monday. The price went down by Rs 700 on Friday and closed at Rs 8,800 on Saturday.
 

Maida (90 kg) moved up by Rs 100 on Friday to Rs.2700 from its previous rate of Rs 2,600.

Prices of urad dal (Rs 13,000), sugar (Rs 3,900), wheat (Rs 2,900) and sooji (90 kg)(Rs 3,200) ruled steady throughout the week.
