Singer-actress Selena Gomez has been sued by a perfume company because she had agreed to work with the company and failed to do so.
Adrenalina Inc are claiming that the 20-year-old 'Love Song' hitmaker planned to develop and promote their fragrances bearing her name back in 2011 and backed out at the last minute after they already spent USD 2 million on the project, reported TMZ.
Gomez has already released her own perfume some time back but it is not clear if that falls under her contract with Adrenalina Inc.
Gomez's lawyer was quick to respond to the whole lawsuit, saying, "Any claim that Selena did not meet her promotional obligations is ridiculous, manufactured after Adrenalina was terminated. Selena will vigorously defend this lawsuit, and will soon bring her own lawsuit against Adrenalina for millions in damages.
