The 19-year-old, who put her singing aspirations on hold to boost her acting career, is itching to head back to the studio, reported Daily Star.
"I finished three movies this year, so I'm very happy about that, because it's exactly what I wanted: I wanted to do film for a little bit. But I am missing music, so we're going to start on the fourth record at the end of this year," she said.
Gomez also wants a more mature sound when she begins working on a follow-up to her last release, 'When The Sun Goes Down'.
"I want to go for producers that probably wouldn't want me to do their songs. I also want to work with Fun. I want to work with just different styles of music. I also want to work with Taylor Swift. By the time it comes out, I'll almost be 21, so I want it to be old," Gomez added.
Gomez will be seen in teen comedy film "Spring Breakers", Adam Sandler's animated movie "Hotel Transylvania" and an action film with Ethan Hawke.
