Haryana Congress' infighting between Ambala MP and Union Minister Selja and state Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda came out in the open at a foundation stone laying function here today.
While Selja raised issues relating to disparity in development in her constituency, Hooda responded by saying development cannot happen by "sitting in Delhi".
Addressing a gathering at a ceremony amidst sloganeering by her supporters, Selja blamed the Haryana government for lack of interest in development projects in her constituency.

She rued about state government not giving attention to projects, including a trauma centre and waste management projects, in Ambala.
Selja also raised the issue of a dalit youth from Ambala who was kept in illegal police confinement and whose body was found later on rail track.
She said this was a clearly show of police atrocity on dalits, and demanded an inquiry into it by the CBI or a sitting judge of a High Court.
The Union Minister also complained about the compensation granted to the victim's family saying it was insufficient.
Without naming Selja, Hooda hit out at the Union Minister saying those who questioned about the development should serve the people by going to them rather than sitting in Delhi.
"Development works are being undertaken in all areas as per requirement," he said.
The foundation stone laying ceremony of a Technology Centre at Saha (close to Ambala) was also attended by Union Minister of State for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises K H Muniyappa, Haryana Congress President Phool Chand Mullana and Industry Minister Randeep Singh Surjewala.
