A 72-year-old woman, who was injured during a robbery at her flat in suburban Santacruz last week, has succumbed to her injuries, police said today.
Chandra Raheja died at Asha Parekh Hospital in Santacruz yesterday, DCP (zone IX) Satyanarayan Chaudhary said.
Meanwhile, police today arrested one Praveen Singh alias Sandeep Rawat (19) in connection with the crime that occurred on the night of July 1, he said, adding that Rawat was detained by police yesterday.

According to police, two persons, posing as food delivery men, had entered Raheja's flat and attacked her while committing the robbery.
Raheja's domestic help found her lying in a pool of blood on the floor the next day, police had said.
Rawat was detained on a tip-off that he would be coming to Nehru Nagar area in suburban Juhu, police said, adding, his accomplice is still at large.
The CCTV camera at Raheja's building had captured faces of both Rawat and his aide, police said.
The accused, along with his partner who is absconding, has been booked under various sections of IPC, and has been remanded in police custody till July 12, the DCP said.
