Congress today expressed dismay for a cabinet rank minister of Jharkhand having met the accused in the recent riots in the steel city.
Slamming the Jharkhand Food and Public Distribution Minister, Saryu Roy for meeting an accused lodged in the jail in Ghaghidih jail here last week, AICC spokesman Dr. Ajoy Kumar said the law and order of the state was deteriorating and the minister was meeting an accused, who was booked under an Arms Act, in the jail.
The accused was also named in the FIR lodged by the district police in the case, Kumar pointed out.

Roy had gone to meet the accused Chotu Pandit, who happened to be a BJP worker.
Kumar also criticised Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghuvar Das alleging he failed to fulfill the promises made during the election campaign.
