A senior officer of the Fire department was arrested by West Bengal Anti-corruption Bureau late this evening for his alleged involvement with a fake licence issuing racket.
Senior officer Basudeb Ganguly was arrested by ACB's sleuths from the fire department's Mirza Galib street office, a senior ACB officer said.
Raid at Ganguly's Naihati residence was taking place, he said.
