Rajasthan Anti-Corruption Bureau has filed an FIR against a senior IAS officer in connection with alleged irregularity in a transfer of a government land worth crore to a person.
Umrao Salodia, an Additional Chief Secretary rank officer and presently director-general of Jawahar Kala Kendra, was booked last week for the "mired" allotment of 18 beegha Urban Improvement Trust (UIT) land in Bhilwara to a resident last year.
Salodia, who was the then Chairman of Revenue Board, allegedly favoured one Badrudeen by sanctioning the allotment 'patta' of 18 beegha land to him on March 14 last year, ACB sources said today.

Badrudeen had claimed that the 18 beegha land was allotted to his father Niyamat Ali by Mewar Darbar in 1945.
However, later, the allotment was annulled by revenue board.
Later, Badrudeen filed a Revision Petition against the old order of Revenue Board and the IAS officer allegedly approved the land "patta" (lease agreement) issued by Mewar Darbar in 1945.
"Salodia has been booked under Section 13(1)-D of Prevention of Corruption of Act for misuse of office and 120-B of IPC for criminal conspiracy," Additional SP-ACB Special Wing in Ajmer, Karni Singh Rathore, told PTI over phone.
Some important documents related to case were also seized, he said, adding that the case will be taken up by an Investigating Officer to be appointed by ACB headquarters in Jaipur.
The IAS officer did not respond to the calls and messages sent to him.
