Senior Journalist N P Aromalunny passes away

: Senior Journalist N P Aromalunny passed away due to an illness at his residence at nearby Venginissery last night, family sources said today.

He was 78. He is survived by his wife and three daughters.

Aromalunny was district correspondent of CPI's mouthpice the 'Janayugam' daily for over 27 years.

He was also Assistant private secretary to Ministers V K Rajan and Krishnan Kaniyamparambil for about five years.

He was state secretary of Kerala Union of Working Journalists (KUWJ) and its district unit treasurer. He had also served as member of the Kerala Government's Press Advisory Board.
