Rajesh Kumar, 40, was found hanging from the ceiling fan of his room and cause of the suicide was yet to be ascertained, Additional Superintendent of Police (Rampur) Sadhna Goswami said.
Family members of the District Telecom Manager, who belonged to Aligarh, did not divulge any details regarding Kumar's mental condition, which apparently led him to take the extreme step, police said.
Post-mortem report is awaited.
