Coinciding with the September 11 attacks anniversary, a Pune-based NGO today held an event here at the Jantar Mantar, and sent out a message that terrorism in all forms should be rooted out from the world.
The NGO held a dialogue session with its members and also emphasised that the purpose of the event was to tell people that they should not feel afraid.
"About 20 members from Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhan and Bihar, came today to attend the programme and we also invited people to discuss and debate different aspects, including the aftermath of terror attacks," said Vishwajeet Singh, an official of Centre for Good Governance, a research and philanthropic body run under Vishwa Shriram Sena.
