Drug firm Sequent Scientific today reported a consolidated net profit of Rs 30.53 crore for the quarter ending September 30.
The company had posted a net loss of Rs 4.44 crore for the corresponding period of the previous fiscal, Sequent Scientific said in a filing to BSE.
Consolidated total income of the company stood at Rs 271.93 crore for the quarter under consideration as compared to Rs 232.79 crore for the same period previous fiscal.

In a separate filing, the company said its board has declared an interim dividend of Rs 0.20 per equity share of Rs 2 each.
Shares of Sequent Scientific were trading at Rs 99.70 in afternoon trade on BSE today, down 3.90 per cent from its previous close.
