Service attaches from friendly foreign countries visit INA

A delegation of 20 service attaches (FSAs) from friendly foreign countries arrivedtoday at the Indian Naval Academy (INA) at Ezhimala in Kannur district on a two-day official visit.

They were received by the academy's Principal Director (Training) Commodore Arjun Dev Nair.

The visiting FSAs were formally briefed on INA's infrastructure progress and plans, training processes and training facilities, a release from the INA said.

A conducted tour to academic faculties and laboratories, warship simulator, weapon training centre, sail training centre, firing Range, sports facilities, equitation training centre, cadets mess, cadets squadrons and aquaticscomplex was also held for the delegation, it said.
 

The FSAs expressed interest in exploring possibilities for enhancing training cooperation with their respective countries and participation in the annual Admiral's Cup Sailing Regatta.
