Services 446, Andra 177-1 on day 3 of Ranji Trophy

Riding on opener Prasanth Kumar's unbeaten 90, Andra Pradesh reached 177-1 in their first innings after dismissing Services for 446 on day three as their Ranji Trophy Group C match headed towards a draw, here today.

Prasanth cracked 10 boundaries and a six in his 236-ball innings and shared an 80-run opening partnership with KS Bharat (42) to set the foundation for a good score.

At the draw of stumps, Prasanth and KR Sreekanth (24) were at the crease with Andra still trailing by 269 runs with 9 wickets remaining in the 1st innings.

Earlier, G Rahul Singh completed a superb hundred, scoring an unbeaten 127 after resuming his innings at 95. His 182-ball unconquered innings was studded with 19 boundaries.
 

Resuming at an overnight score of 400/8, Services could add another 46 runs to their 1st innings after Diwesh Pathania (18) and S Pandey (1) were dismissed early in the day.
