Services snatched a thrilling 61-60 win against Indian Railways in the concluding men's Group A league match and entered the semi finals of the Rs 5 lakh prize fund 10th Savio Cup All-India Basketball Tournament at the on Bosco High School here.
The Services victory enabled Indian Overseas Bank from Chennai to also advance to the semifinal league in the men's section from the same group.
The men from armed forces were well-served by Narendar who led the scoring with 19 points and Jogender, with 10 points, Harinder (16 points) and Harminder (15) did the bulk of the scoring for Railways.
